€101 Million SuperEnalotto Jackpot Won in Napoli

€101 Million SuperEnalotto Jackpot Won in Napoli

The SuperEnalotto jackpot was last won in November 2023. Since then, the first prize has been rolling over before reaching the amazing amount of €101 million. One ticket purchased in Napoli, Campania matched all the winning numbers.

On the draw held on Friday 10th May, there was only a single winning ticket. The winning numbers were 6, 40, 80, 71, 55 and 20, with Jolly 12 and SuperStar 75. This is the first time the jackpot has been won in 2024.

It was later revealed that the ticket was purchased in Naples, Campania at a Sisal Tabaccheria sales point, on via Toledo ex Via Roma, 410. The shop is owned by Salvatore Gaspar, who said:

“We have just found out about the win, they are writing to me right now on Whatsapp. This is news that makes us very happy. Any idea who the lucky one might be? We are in a very touristy area, so many come to play here every day, so it is impossible to know who the winner is.”

This is not the only time when a winning ticket was sold in the tobacconist’s shop. Mr Gaspar shared that “there have been several. Six or seven years ago, €1 million was won again at SuperEnalotto, but obviously there has never been a similar win." When asked if he has a message for the winner, he said “I hope he remembers us and shows up."

Campania is the luckiest region in the SuperEnalotto game as, since the launch of the game, 20 jackpots were won there. The game was launched in 1997 and since then, the first prize has been won 130 times so far, with the total amount of the jackpots reaching over €5 billion.
