Christmas SuperEnalotto Raffle Winners
The Christmas SuperEnalotto Raffle, known as 20 Nababbi a Natale in Italy, took place on Saturday 23rd December and created 20 brand new millionaires to celebrate both Christmas and the 20th anniversary of the first SuperEnalotto draw, on Wednesday 3rd December 1997.
A code was generated for every SuperEnalotto line with SuperStar played in that draw, which acted as players’ entry into the raffle.
One of the 20 winners to collect their award this week bought his ticket at the Tabaccheria at Corso Marrucino 140 in Chieti, Abruzzo. He explained that the win didn’t faze him, as he was always ready for the unexpected, whether it be good or bad news. He told lottery officials that his travels around Italy for business had helped make him adaptable to all sorts of situations. He has yet to tell his wife and children about his good fortune, but says that he intends to use the €1 million to invest in property.
Other winners to complete the procedures to withdraw their prize this week include a ticket holder from Rome, whose €6 investment turned into a €1 million windfall, and a participant from Naples who bought tickets worth just €3 and is now a millionaire.
