June's 'Millionaire Boot' Draw Guarantees Ten €1 Million Prizes

June's 'Millionaire Boot' Draw Guarantees Ten €1 Million Prizes

The SuperEnalotto jackpot was not won in the draw on Tuesday 29th May, meaning it will roll over for the 17th consecutive time, taking the top prize to €41.4 million. In a quiet night for the big prizes, no one matched five numbers plus the Jolly, but two players did match five to take home €80,000 each. The wait for a millionaire is nearly over, though, as a special draw in June will guarantee ten prizes of €1 million.

Match Five Winners

The winning combination from last night’s draw is 19, 28, 42, 49, 68, 83, Jolly 20 and SuperStar 67. The top two prizes went completely unclaimed for the 13th draw in a row, extending the wait for another big winner. The last time the jackpot was won was on 17th April, when a player from Caltanissetta won €130 million, the fifth-biggest win in the lottery’s history.

The prize money might not be quite on the same scale but two players are celebrating being €80,000 richer after matching five numbers in last night's draw. The winning tickets were bought at the Rosa bar at via Vittorio Veneto 14 in Bovisio Masciago and at the Tabacchi Fratelli Renda bar at via Garibaldi 411 in Vittoria. These winnings took the total prize money awarded from last night’s draw to over €3.2 million, including prizes of €32,371 to four Match 4+Superstar winners.

Ten prizes of €1 million to be won on 4th June

A special SuperEnalotto draw called Stivale Milionario (‘Millionaire Boot’) will take place on 4th June to celebrate Festa della Repubblica (‘Republic Day’). Ten guaranteed prizes of €1 million will be up for grabs for anyone who plays SuperEnalotto with SuperStar in that draw. Each valid ticket will be printed with a unique alphanumeric code and ten of these codes will be extracted in a raffle on 4th June. Each winner will receive €1 million.

You will receive a raffle code for every Superenalotto+SuperStar combination you play, so you can give yourself a better chance of winning by buying more combinations.

Eurojackpot Hits Jackpot Cap

The top prize in the Eurojackpot lottery has also been climbing recently, and last week it hit its jackpot cap of €90 million. There were still no winners in the draw on Friday 25th May, so this enormous sum is still available to win.

The jackpot cannot climb any higher now that it has reached its cap, so any additional funds from future ticket sales will instead go into the prize pool for the tier below, won by matching five main numbers and one Euro number. It means that there is no better time to play Eurojackpot, as you could potentially be paid out millions of euros without even winning the top prize.

In Friday’s draw, for example, four players managed to match 5+1 to win the second prize, each taking home €2.3 million. In the previous draw, the prize for each winner in the same category was worth €632,000, around 70 percent less. Jackpot caps may restrict the amount of money the top prize is worth but they can provide incredible value for other winners, as shown here.
