The winning SuperEnalotto numbers were 11, 17, 40, 69, 84 and 85, with Jolly 82 and SuperStar 62. In addition to the biggest prize winner on the night, a player from Brescia correctly predicted five of the six numbers drawn to walk away with €214,000. The jackpot winning ticket was purchased at Moreno Market in Mestrino, and celebrations began soon after the results were announced. “I’m surprised,” said Michael, who helps run the family-owned business. He revealed that there were a vast number of local players and he remains hopeful that the winner is from the area. Michael also wished the victor well, and prayed that the win would help solve all their financial problems, before joking that the winner would know where to find him if some of the money was going spare.
This latest win is the first since Thursday 27th October, when a ticket holder from Vibo Valentia successfully captured a top prize worth €163.5 million. The wait between jackpot wins has been relatively short this time around, with 39 draws taking place compared to the 200 that occurred between the last top prize winner in 2015 and the first in 2016.
Following Saturday’s win, Tuesday’s jackpot is set to be an estimated €11.9 million. To be in with a chance of winning, tickets are available to purchase online or from any authorised retailer throughout the country. Best of luck!
