The last time the jackpot was won was back in May, when a player from the town of Montappone in Fermo, Marche, landed €156 million. Indeed, that is the only time it has been won all year, and the top prize has now been rising steadily for more than six months.
A number of players have come close to pocketing the jackpot. A ticket holder from Savignano sul Rubicone matched five main numbers plus the Jolly to win €594,539 on Tuesday 26th October, while in the previous draw on Saturday 23rd October there was a Match 5 + Jolly win worth €705,421.
Biggest SuperEnalotto Jackpots
There have only been nine occasions in SuperEnalotto’s history when the jackpot has reached nine figures. Tuesday’s rollover helped the current prize go past the €100.7 million win that went to a player from Catania in Sicily in 2008.
The jackpot still has a long way to go before it breaks the all-time record. The largest prize ever paid out in Italy remains the €209 million from August 2019. The money was claimed by a player from Lodi in Lombardy.
A syndicate from Milan - consisting of 70 players - had previously won €177 million in October 2010. Go to the Biggest Jackpots page to see a full list of the top ten.
SuperEnalotto currently offers the biggest jackpot of any European lottery, and you can try to win every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Go to an authorised retailer or take part online.
