The winner played over the internet, becoming the first online player in history to match all six numbers. The winning numbers for Saturday were 4, 15, 26, 27, 72 and 82. The Jolly was 89 and the SuperStar was 12.
Go to the SuperEnalotto Results page to find out more information about the draw, including the number of winners in all of the different prize categories.
It has been revealed that the winner spent just €2 on their online bet, but no more information is likely to be disclosed until the claim process is complete. The lucky player will need to collect their prize in person within 90 days.
The jackpot had previously gone almost two years without a winner, until a syndicate won €371 million on Thursday 16th February.
After the record win, the starting jackpot for the next draw was still an impressive €54.7 million, and it quickly climbed beyond €70 million. There have now been 112 jackpots won since SuperEnalotto was launched in 1997.
The jackpot for the next draw will be €8.1 million. You can play online like the latest winner, or buy a ticket from an authorised retailer in Italy.
